About our branch of the SPA
The SPA "Penthièvre and Mene" is, by recognition of the 1901 law, a non-profit organization. The Refuge of Hope (Brehand) was registered at the prefecture on October 9th, 2001.
The founder-director of this refuge is Mrs Louisette Boulbin. All her life she has defended animal welfare. Her whole life revolves around animals, "wonderful companions of man".
She does not tolerate abuse towards animals, such as malnutrition, beatings and other atrocities. The facts are plain to see, examples of animal torture show us how man can be perfidious and vicious.
